Undergraduate research opportunities:

Are you an undergraduate at IU and looking to gain research experience? Send an email to thecalderonlab-at-gmail-dot-com with the subject line “Chewbacca” so I know you’ve done your homework. Please include your CV/resume and an unofficial copy of your transcript.

Prospective Ph.D students:

Are you hoping to do your Ph.D research with us? If so, the first step is to apply to the Genome, Cell and Developmental Biology (GCDB) Graduate Program at IU. The deadline for GCDB applications has passed for this year, but you can find out more about the program here. Alternatively, you can apply for admission into the Biochemistry Graduate Program at IU. The priority date for Biochemistry applications is December 2024 (December 1 for international applicants and December 15 for domestic applicants). All the details can be found here.

If you’ve already been accepted into one of these Ph.D programs and you’re interested in rotating in the lab, send an email to thecalderonlab-at-gmail-dot-com with the subject “Covelli Crisp” so we can get the ball rolling.

Prospective postdocs:
